“Good gosh, you’re right for once, just look at that vile thing, I would be tempted to poke it if it wasn’t so disgusting-!” Yes, he’s looking at you Yami, he’ll get a stick and poke you with that instead.

“Well well, look at you, pretending to care.” Bakura would never be taken in by such a thing, they were enemies and that was that. “There is no peace from the demons I have to endure, again, I repeat, you know nothing of true torture. Pampered little brat. A theif I may be, however it was the only way that I would be able to live another day after wandering from Kul alna with nothing, no-one. I soon learnt the hard way, that no-one could be trusted.”

Least of all, the Pharaoh and his line. No, he would never trust another living soul, he couldn’t even trust himself he had slipped so far, nearly nothing to hold on to, the tide of insanity slowly pulling him in, he knew he would end up drowning.

"I’d rather be a filthy street rat than a pompous little welp like you, can’t even reach top shelf and yet you speak with your nose held high. Times have changed, Pharaoh, you’re no longer a king, despite never being mine."

The former ruler would fight the urge to roll his eyes at the other’s reply. Pretending to care? The thief couldn’t be more lost. The two of them were remnants of a lost time. They were rivals… enemies… but they were two of a kind. Two halves of the same story…

Scoffing at the other’s words, he turned his head up at the thief, eyes sliding shut. He may have had no longer had any of his subjects, but his sense of kingship remained.

"Times and changed yet you have not. You still remain as pompous… as vile as ever. It would appear your time sealed within the ring has only made you madder. I hoped it would have given you time to reflect on your deeds."

“Watching your own family being boiled alive in agony to create something foul tends to do that to a person. I sometimes wonder if my mother’s soul is trapped within this ring too, or whether she resides elsewhere. I used to call for her, alas to no avail. The inner etchings with my skull count the numberous days in which I was left to fend for myself in the streets of Egypt, something you would know nothing about, neither will you ever know the madness I have come to know as the only thing that comforts me.”

The Pharaoh could hiss, snarl and growl like a cornered animal all he liked, it never once phased Bakura, nor shifted the ever growing icy glare the shorter male would be recieving.

"You brought it up, honestly, I couldn’t care less what you do to your light, you inbred pedigree."

The pharaoh’s gaze would turn slightly downcast. Kul Elna… that horrible incident all those years ago. Fingers would wrap around the heavy puzzle adorning his neck, eyes sliding shut. The horrors the other must have witnessed… the sheer desolation. All for these cursed items.

"I hope you find peace from your demons. I won’t deny that was a terrible incident. But why turn pain into hate? Why do you insist on continuing down this path?" He asked, eyes opening once more to look at the dark male before him. Why did the Pharaoh even care? The two were sworn enemies… destined to try and kill each other for all eternity.

That angered expression returned to his face once again, eyes narrowing once more.

"Inbred? I’d rather be of royal blood than some trash of the street, you vile vermin."

“Tch, typical that the only person to actually love a murderer like you would be what is technically yourself, do you cry your own name out when you fuck him-? Wouldn’t surprise me, you’re so egotisical and vein.”

He spat out, eyes glaring daggers at the man who’s father had caused him so much pain, technically bringing him to this way of life. Yami only had that guy to blame, and all for the hunk of gold that sat around that stupid king’s neck. When playing with someone who was an expert in mind games, there was no such thing as having an upperhand.

"My light, ha, I haven’t seen him in a long while and nor do I give two shits, torturing him-? Don’t make me laugh, you know nothing of true torture."

“Murderer?” He quirked a brow, moving a hand up to stroke his own chin. There was blood on his father’s hands, sure, but did that make him guilty of the same crime? And did the thief’s actions justify  ”If I seem to recall properly, it was you who was parading around Egypt, pillaging graves, murdering palace guards. I remember defending the good people of Egypt from you.”

The male did growl, however, when the white haired male brought up his personal affairs. That was crossing a line that the Pharaoh held closely. Tightening his grip on that golden puzzle, he took a step towards the other.

"You would be wise to hold your tongue, thief. What I do in the privacy of my chambers is none of your concern, you crude mutt.” He hissed back, eyes shooting back to the other male, his form tense.

“Look at you, once a feared ruler of men. Now nothing but little Yugi’s lap dog. It’s pitiful how far you’ve plummeted, I’m ashamed to call you my rival.. I want a refund, maybe somebody that won’t be tamed by an ankle biter.”

A snort would leave the theif, dark brown eyes narrowing, then drifting off elsewhere, although he couldn’t help but smirk, playing mind games with anyone would result in him having fun, but the other dark half of the light, oh yes messing with him brought him the greatest pleasure. Idiot king.

“Lap dog?” The ruler growled, his brow twitching a bit as his glare narrowed on the white haired brat. “I won’t argue that he’s a pint sized thing… but to say I’ve been tamed? Bah! You insult me! It’s the other way around. Yuugi is my lap dog~”

The tri-colored male would give a proud smirk, nodding his head. If he had to argue with the other, he was going to try and keep the upper hand. A hand dragged along his puzzle, shaking his head. The other male hadn’t changed at all.

"How are things on your end? Still maiming innocent people? Torturing your light?"

Leche, this makes me so happy. xD I wonder if playing with Bakura’s batwings would be relaxing; I think so.
But it would also be dangerous..

“Your thick skull never ceases to amaze me, or has your old age withered what little mind you once had-? Never have I grovelled before anyone, I do not plan to start any time soon, especially to you.”

As if he get on his knees or bow to his wishes, a pathetic concept given their history, Bakura would always flat out refuse.

“My mind is as sharp as ever, Bakura. I simply hoped your time in the mortal realm had humbled you, are opened those dull eyes of yours to the way things should be. Perhaps you still aren’t quite tame yet, thief brat.”

The former ruler’s face would curl into a smirk. He didn’t know why… but somehow, antagonizing the other spirit brought him great joy.

Narrowing his dark hues at the former thief, his arms crossed his chest, his glare intensifying.

"You will address me properly, peasant. You will not poke your king. I expect you to grovel, Bakura.”
